Our Cotopaxi and Chimborazo Expedition allow you to summit two peaks in the Ecuadorian Andes in the same expedition.  Cotopaxi is the highest active volcano in the world (5,897 m) and Chimborazo, known as The Roof of Ecuador at 6,310 meters. Cotopaxi and Chimborazo both involve glacier climbing in the moderate range of difficulty.

Ecuador’s famous “Avenue of the Volcanoes” offers some of the finest beginner-intermediate mountaineering in the Andes, set amid a fascinating cultural backdrop. While climbing Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo you will experience crevassed glacier travel, 35-40 degree snow and ice slopes and amazing ridges.
