Botnsulur
Botnsúlur is a mountain range with two popular peaks for climbing, Syðsta-Súla, at 3,586 feet and Vestursúla, at 3,556 feet. Each climb is about 6 hours and this area is only a 1.5 hour drive from Raykavik. The trail heads start near the Assembly Plains, with both routes usually opened in the early spring.
